NYC-BASED ACTOR / PRODUCER
SAG-AFTRA / AEA
I'm an actor-producer living in Brooklyn, NY. I received my BA in Theatre with a minor in psychology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI, before moving to New York to pursue an acting career. After working extensively in the indie theatre scene, I began to pursue more on-camera work in 2012, booking my first co-star role in the ABC pilot Dark Horse, directed by Roland Emmerich. Since then, I’ve appeared in House of Cards, Law & Order: SVU, Bull, FBI: Most Wanted, and many more. Big-screen credits include Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects, Ken Scott’s Delivery Man with Vince Vaughn, and Laura Kosann's The Social Ones. I am also active in the indie film scene, most notably appearing in Chateau Sauvignon: terroir, which received over 123 Official Selections, 36 nominations, and 30 wins, including for Best Cast Performance at The Wild Sound Film Festival in 2016. I also continue to perform on stage, and in 2017 had the opportunity to perform one of my dream roles, Patricia in Sight Unseen by Donald Marguiles, with New Light Theatre Project. I was delighted to have been asked back by the same company and director (Jerry Heymann) to star as Sarah in another Marguiles play, Time Stands Still, in 2018.
I began producing in 2014, founding Anemone Productions. Anemone Productions focuses on generating work for film, television, and theatre with an emphasis on the female protagonist. Anemone’s inaugural production was the short film Find Some Love (2015) written by Michele Aldin Kushner, and directed by Melissa Attebery. The next project was a reading of a new play by Steven Fechter (writer of the award-winning 2004 film The Woodsman). The play, Genesis, was directed by Emmy Award winner Michael Laibson, and performed in 2016 for an enthusiastic standing-room-only crowd at Theatre 54 in NYC.
Anemone produced 3 short films in 2018-19, all directed by Michelle Bossy -- Miracle Baby, another collaboration with Mr. Fechter in which I star alongside Stephen Kunken (Billions, The Handmaid's Tale); Incurable, written by & starring Josephine Cashman; and Stag Party, written by & starring Sami Bass alongside Alex Hernandez (UnREAL, Bloodshot).
Anemone also has produced 2 world-premiere, full-length theatre productions -- Rosemary and Time by Jennifer Fell Hayes that played at Paradise Factory Theater in NYC in 2018; and The Battles of Richmond Hill by Penny Jackson that played at HERE in 2019. Both productions were directed by
Kathy Gail MacGowan.
